Sunday School continues to be an important part of our life together as a Christian family.  We have a nursery for our infants and toddlers and four classes for our adults to choose from.  The classes are structured so that you can join at any time.  Classes begin at 9:45 a.m. so plan to arrive a few moments early.  Classes will end at 10:30 a.m. to allow for preparation for the worship service at 11:00 a.m.

The seal of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) is a registered trademark.  The basic components of the symbol are the cross, scripture, a descending dove at the upper part of the cross, the flames on either side of the lower part of the cross.  The cross represents the incarnate love of God in Jesus Christ and his passion and resurrection.
Preschool- First Grade (Room 4)
"Elijah”, “Daniel and His Friends”, and “God Helps People Do What is Right”  The class will begin this fall focusing on these stories.  “Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever” Psalm 107:1.  Students learn through scripture reading, games, songs, and crafts.

Second to Fifth Grade (Room 6)
"Fitting into God’s Plan” The curriculum actively engages kids as they further develop Bible skills, explore Bible chronology, and learn how they fit into God’s plan. Kids have fun while they’re learning important truths! This fall the class will begin by studying from Genesis, Psalms, Romans, and Exodus.

Middle & High School (Room 9)
1 Samuel Chapters 16 – 31.  The class finished the first 15 Chapters of 1 Samuel, which begins with the promise made by Hannah to return her son, Samuel, to the Lord’s service if God would give her a child.  The lessons continued with the transition from the rule of judges to the rule of King Saul.   This fall the class will pick up the story as King Saul begins to make bad decisions and Samuel tells him he will soon be replaced.  Saul’s successor will be a shepherd named David.

Foundations Adult Class (Room 7)
Romans was written by the apostle Paul for the church in Rome.  In Romans, Paul is overjoyed to share his message of good news and eternal salvation with the church.  He focuses on God’s righteousness that comes by grace alone through faith in Christ.  Romans underscores that Christianity is more than just a doctrine – it is an essential roadmap for daily living.  Join us as we study Romans with the help of a guide by John MacArthur.

Men’s Class (Fellowship Hall)
“What Did Jesus Do? Understanding the Work of Christ” is based on the teaching of R.C. Sproul. When Jesus approached John the Baptist to be baptized, John initially objected. But Jesus responded by saying that it was necessary “to fulfill all righteousness.” (Matt. 3:15) Why was this act—and others like it—so important? Most Christians understand the importance of Christ’s atoning sacrifice and the significance of his resurrection. But how many comprehend the significance of the life Jesus led prior to the crowning weeks of the passion? In this teaching series, R.C. Sproul uncovers what it means for Christ to be the “second Adam”—and what this means for believers today.

Sojourners Adult Class (Room 8)
Come travel with the Sojourners!  The Sojourners will travel through the 66 books of the Bible, finding a memory verse from each.  The journey begins in August with Genesis, and you're cordially invited to participate.  Although this certainly won't be an exhaustive study, it will acquaint you with the Bible and hopefully urge you to read books which had never interested you before.  The Sojourners Class is small and filled with questions.  Please bring yours with you.  It meets directly across from the pastor's office.

Women’s Class (Parlor)
“Living Above Worry and Stress” a Women of Faith study. In the midst of everyday turmoil, our hearts long for a place of peace.  We know God has promised us rest.  We know he says we don’t have to worry about tomorrow.  He promised to calm our fears.  Yet we barely have time to whisper a prayer, let alone study our Bibles.  Let’s take a little time to explore the Scriptures, and find some practical guidelines for laying aside our fears, our worry and our stress.
